Add in no. 4 until you know them all off by heart. Add in no. 5 until you know them all off by heart and continue adding in another one until you have included them all. Write the Spanish on one side of a card or piece of paper and the English translation on the other. Then shuffle them all. All the words you know in Spanish and in English highlight green, all the words you only know in either Spanish or English highlight yellow or orange and all the expressions you don’t know highlight in red. The aim is to have all the words coloured green. Visualisation – imagine your house. Go into the hallway and place 2 expressions in there. Go into the living room and place another 2 vocabulary items in there. Learn all, then go back to the hall and remember those 2 expressions, go to the living room and remember those 2 expressions. Move on to the kitchen and place another 2 vocabulary items in there. Learn all and go back to hall and mentally walk through each room remembering the vocab you placed in each room. Repeat this in different rooms around the house, until you have used up all your words and you have learnt them all.
