Using the futuro tense to express what will happen
Cool thing #1: Do not remove infinitives! No lie! No mentiras!
Cool thing #2: There is only one, yes one, set of endings for –ar, -er, -ir, and irregular verbs. 1 set of endings only!!!! No estas soñando! Es la verdad!
Cool thing #3 Stem-changers no existen!
Cool thing # 4 You already know the endings: They are the same endings as the present tense of the verb haber!
So then…..let’s put all that information together!
Conjugation emos éis án é ás á Infinitive +
Conjugating an -ar verb hablaré hablarás hablará hablaremos hablaréis hablarán Yo hablaré a mi amiga en la mañana. I will speak to my friend in the morning.
Conjucating an -er verb creeré creerás creerá creeremos creeréis creerán Ella me creerá cuando yo explico la situación. She will believe me when I explain the situation.
Conjugating an -ir verb abriré abrirás abrirá abriremos abriréis abrirán Abriremos la tienda nueva en pocos días. We will open the new store in a few days.
No stem-changers, but DO remember reflexives. me dormiré te dormirás se dormirá nos dormiremos os dormiréis se dormirán Me dormiré temprano si no bebo café. I will fall asleep early if I don’t drink coffee.
Irregulares + é emos ás éis á án Tener – tendr Poner – pondr Venir – vendr Salir – saldr Querer – querr Poder – podr Saber – sabr Caber – cabr haber - habr Decir – dir Hacer – har é emos ás éis á án + Ellos tendrán un fiesta por sus amigos y familias. They will have a party for their friends and families.
Ellos nunca dirán la verdad. They will never tell the truth. Los chicos me las escribirán. The boys will write them to me. ¿Me amarás siempre? Will you love me forever? ¡No nos los pondremos! We will not put them on!
¿Te casarás conmigo? Will you marry me? Ellas no terminarán su comida. They will not finish their food. Nunca me volverá. He will never come back to me.
