Game Cluedo: How to Play 1.Your group should have the 21 cards containing 6 cards of suspects, 9 rooms and 6 weapons, a tally card for each member and an envelope. 2.Without looking, one person removes a suspect, weapon and room card.and places it in the envelope. This is who done it, where and how. 3.Dealer shuffles in all the rest of the cards and passes them out as evenly as possible to the group members. 4.Each group member looks at their cards and checks off the suspects, weapons, and locations they have on their tally sheets since these are not a possiblity. 5.Then, one group member says to the ONE other for example, Yo creo que es el primo, con la silla, en la sala. Or Es el primo con la silla en la sala. 6.The student asked has to confirm ONLY ONE of these and can keep the others a secret. Everyone crosses off either the suspect, weapon or location that was cleared from the list by that student. 7.Take turns like this until someone can guess who did it, where and with what to win the game. ( *If someone makes a wrong guess you can tell because someone in the group will have the card in their hand) 8. You lose if you dont say it in Spanish!

To the teacher Preparing the Game : Materials Needed Light weight card stock paper in 3 light shade colors like white, grey, and cream. small white envelopes Small manila, clasp envelopes or business envelopes Magnetic tape Black sharpie 1 quart size or larger storage baggie Directions for preparing the game 1.Print 8 0r 9 copies each or the Las armas, Los sospechosos, and Los cuartos on light weight cardstock separating each by color. 2.Print one copy of the sign You say on a card stock. Use any color you like 3.Laminate all of these. 4.Cut up the cards and put them into sets. Number the back of each card set with the black sharpie in case a card gets separated from the envelope it can be returned to the correct set because it is numbered. 5.Print the tally sheets and cut up so they are strips that include al three categories. 6.Assemble the sets: One manila envelope should have the 21 cards that are numbered by their set number and a small white envelope to put the who, what, and where cards. Then Write the number of the set on the manila envelope. 7.Make copies of the how to play the game and hand them out to the groups when they are about the play the game. Have the students play in groups of 3 to a group with a maximum of 4 (3 is best). 8.Hang up the What you say on the board when you play. Magnetize the back for easy display. 9.Make a large quantity of tally cards so as not to run out.
