C Ce C before an “I” or “E” will make a s sound. C before an “A”, “O”, or “U” will make a k sound.

De D

E makes an EY sound, like HEY!

efe F

G ge G before an “I” or “E” makes an English “h” sound. G before an “A”, “O”, or “U” makes an English G sound.

ache H H is written but never pronounced. As in never, if you’re tempted just don’t do it!

I makes the sound of “ee” as in feet.

J makes an English “h” sound, but just a little harsher. jota J J makes an English “h” sound, but just a little harsher.

Ñ makes a sound like you’ve combined an English “n” and “y”. eñe Ñ Ñ makes a sound like you’ve combined an English “n” and “y”.
