-IR stem-changing verbs Another group of stem-changing verbs changes the e of the infinitive to i in all forms except the nosotros and vosotros. Unlike other stem-changing verbs, all the verbs that change from e -> i are –IR verbs. Irregular Verbs in the YO form: Many irregular verbs in the present tense have only one irregular form: YO. All other forms are the same as those of a regular or stem-changing verb. infinitive irregular YO ir voy dar doy estar estoy

-UIR verbs Verbs that end in –UIR are spelled with y in all forms except nosotros and vosotros.
