Session Description Debating skills translate to language proficiency skills and gaining confidence in speaking is one of the primary goals and outcomes of both debate and language instruction. Furthermore, debate skills can help students become more comfortable when speaking a world language. This session will focus on how to structure debate in intermediate to advanced classes to help students gain more tools to perform better in their new language. Examples and rubrics will be provided.
