Los usos de ‘Estar’ Temporary characteristics (emotions) Location Yo estoy cansada. Location Nosotros estamos en la escuela. Present Progressive (-ing in English) Yo estoy bailando. (always followed by the –ando/-iendo form of the verb)

Practiquemos They are at the stationary store. We are very sad. Where are you from? The girls are mexican. Is she a teacher? They are students. How are you today? What are you like? (how are you?... As a person)
