Alicia, ¿Qué tal si pruebas el pastel? (How about you try the cake?) Alicia quiere probar comida mexicana. De poste, Julio prefiere comer algo muy frío. De tomar, Elena y su amigo quieren un jugo. Carmen nunca pide carne. A Manolo y a mí nos gusta el pollo. A Julio le gusta el pescado. Elena siempre pide algo de chocolate para el postre.

To give instructions (commands) Sí, saca el pollo y ponlo en el horno. También pon las tortillas en el microondas. Yes, take out the chicken and put it in the oven. Also put the tortillas in the microwave. Saca is the informal command of sacar which means “to take out” Pon is the informal command of poner which means “to put” or “to set” Horno - oven Microondas - microwave
