Alguno / Ninguno Alguno and ninguno have to agree with the nouns they modify. Algunas casas Ninguna casa If they are in front of a masculine and singular noun, they will change their form: Alguno Algún Ninguno Ningún Hay algún chico en la clase? No hay ningún libro en el escritorio.

Double negatives Double negatives are not only acceptable in Spanish, but required. A double negative is required in Spanish when no precedes the verb. 1 2 No queremos nada. 1) No precedes the verb queremos. 2) The negative word nada is required.
