1 Affirmative and Negative Words
Affirmative and negative words help clarify a sentence: What do you eat for lunch? I eat nothing for lunch Who does the dishes? Everyone does the dishes. No one does the dishes.

2 In Spanish you can have multiple negatives
Yo no como ninguna cosa nunca. I never eat any thing ever. To make a sentence negative you must put ‘No’ before the verb (there is no DON’T) Nadie and alguién are subjects, they use the él/ella form.

3 ¡hazlo! They can’t ever serve cookies (galletas)
Ellos ______pueden servir galletas ______. Do you want to eat something? ¿Quieres comer __________________? No, I don’t want to eat anything. No, __________ quiero comer __________

4 Algún and Ningún work like adjectives.
Singular masculine – ningún(o)/algún(o) Singular feminine – ninguna/alguna Plural masculine – ningunos/algunos Plural feminine – ningunas/algunas Some books = algunos libros Some folders = algunas carpetas No not any books = ningunos libros No not any folders = ningunas carpetas

5 ¡hazlo! 1. Hoy no tengo clase. 2. El no trae grapadora.
3. Esta semana no hacemos proyecto. 4. ____________ chicos quieren hacer una pregunta cada día. 5. Felipe sabe reglas pero no todas. No, no hay_______________ libro. Pero no entrega _____ tarea. Vamos a escuchar ________ discurso.
