EL VERBO GUSTAR CON INFINITIVOS In English, infinitives do not have any special endings, but they almost always have the word to in front of them. Ejemplo: to play, to run, to talk, etc. In Spanish, infinitives always end in –ar, -er, or –ir.

Notas 1. An infinitive tells the meaning of the verb without naming any subject or tense. There are three kinds of infinitives in Spanish: those ending in –ar, those ending in –er, and those ending in –ir. When listing the verbs on their infinitive form we like to catogarize them… Let’s make a list of the infinitives we already know.
