To conjugate an –er ending verb in Spanish you drop the er and add an ending that agrees with your subject.. comer beber leer correr Vend er Comprender
If the subject is yo you drop –er and add o Yo com er o Yo como una pizza con mi familia el viernes.
If the subject is tú you drop er and add es Túcom er es Tú comes a la cafetería con tus amigos.
If the subject is él or ella you drop -er and add e. El comer e Ella comer e El come una hamburguesa. Ella come una ensalada.
If the subject is usted you drop the -er and add e just as you did with él and ella. Usted com er e. Usted come el cereal a las siete de la manaña.
If the subject is nosotros you drop -er and add emos. Nosotroscom eremos. You do the same for nosotras. Nosotros comemos al restaurante con nuestras familias. Nosotras comemos la pizza al restaurante.
If the subject is vosotros or vosotras you drop the -er and add éis. Vosotros com er éis Vosotros coméis un sándwich. Vosotras coméis una ensalada.
If the subject is ellos or ellas you drop –er and add en. Ellos comer en. Ellas comeren. Ellos comen a las once y media. Ellas comen a mediodía.
If the subject is ustedes you do the same as with ellos and ellas. You drop -er and add en. Ustedes com er en. Ustedes comen el desayuno a las siete de la manaña.
