11 jueves, el 23 de enero Future Tense #1: Ir + a I AM GOING to….. Comes from the present tense of ir. voyvamos vas vavan

12 jueves, el 23 de enero I am going to eat. Yo voy a comer. You are going to open the book. Tú vas a abrir el libro. Why do we leave the second verb in the infinitive?

13 jueves, el 23 de enero Try some on your own. I am going to leave tomorrow. We are going to study for the test. They are going to eat pizza for dinner. She is going to wake up early. You are going to learn Spanish.

15 jueves, el 23 de enero Future Tense #2: apply a chart I will….. The future tense functions JUST like the conditional, that we learned last week, because you keep the WHOLE verb and just ADD on the ending! éemos ás áán

24 viernes, el 24 de enero In-class composition You will write approximately ¾ to a full page telling me what YOU WILL DO this weekend. You should use 10 verbs in the FUTURE tense– 5 with the ir + a formation and 5 using the chart. CIRCLE your ir + a verbs and UNDERLINE those that use the chart. This is due at the end of class OR first thing on Monday.
