2 Introduction The negative behavior of a parent to know that a loved one will die. It is normal and reasonable. You will encounter many challenges, it is a hardship. Everyday becomes more difficult making the decision, it’s a hard process. The feelings of shock, guilt, anger, fear and denial are present during the acceptance that their child is in terminal stage. They are feelings that we have to learn to handles slowly.

6 In accordance with Sigmund Freud (1964) he originated the concept of denial as one of many defense of mechanisms, used to manage anxiety through the expulsion of intimidating conscious information. With denial we employ our consciousness to avoid appearing ideas, feelings or mental representations that can become painful. The negative behaviors are reflections of our feelings. It is important that parents are provided with information, support and time to listen and talk about their worries to learn and accept this process...
