What if I want to tell the location of a PLACE?
Option 1: Just one place (el palacio)…use “está” to say “is” El palacio está cerca del teatro. Option 2: More than one place(el palacio y el teatro…or las plazas)…use “están” to say “are” El palacio y el teatro están cerca del parque. Las plazas están lejos del parque.

Practice… The plaza is next to the theatre.
The park is close to the museum. The schools are next to the church. The café and the movie theatre are far from the stadium. The market is the left of the palace. The apartments are on top of the stores. The restaurant is on Gran Via Street.

Answers.. La plaza está al lado del teatro.
El parque está cerca del museo. Las escuelas están al lado de la iglesia. El café y el cine están lejos del estadio.. El mercado está a la izquierda del palacio. Los apartamentos están encima de las tiendas. El restaurante está en la calle Gran Via.
