LEARNING INTENTIONS SUCCESS CRITERIA We are learning (to)… utilize questioning strategies to hold conversations on a wide variety of topics from this unit in different formats evaluate language & our own errors, using the correct forms of each word in the sentences used describe foods showing your ability to “agree” We’ll know we’re successful when we can… ask and answer target questions, in isolation (by themselves), in partner conversations, in games like La Lotería, etc. analyze two example paragraphs of peers’ writing & locate, correct and explain the errors found within the work & apply that activity when looking at our own evidence talk about others’ preferences using the correct forms of gustar/encantar in complete sentences use our “recycled” structures with different ‘ser’ & adjective forms considering gender & quantity to make grammatically-correct sentences

Locate specific errors within the paragraph (if there are more than one of the same error, just note the first) Record the phrase with the error. Fix the error. Explain why that is an error. Use awesome collaboration “social” skills!

Nuestra evidencia Read through your evidence.
What did you do well on? What could you improve? Do you see some of the same errors you just saw in the last activity? What will you want to improve upon, practice and retake? Record your evidence grades on your portfolio sheet. Each grade should be written down in a separate row. Any section you earned a PR- or below, it is encouraged for you to retake! You have 2 weeks to complete the Request to Retest process. 10

Frases completes – NO “Sí.” o “No.” Usan “pero” y “porque” Usan las formas correctas – Take the time to think about each word: Use “A” at the beg. of gustar/encantar sentences Use “¿A ti?” with gustar/encantar & “A mí también” “también” (+) vs. “tampoco” (-) ¿gusta? o ¿gustan? – same with –aría(n) & encantar ¿es? o ¿son? ¿bueno? o ¿buena? O ¿buenos? O ¿buenas? Can you talk about others?!?! (me, te, le, nos, les)

15 La Lotería La Práctica de escuchar y responder Criterio C: Communicating in response to spoken, visual, & written text Use a different symbol for each round of the game we play. Listen carefully for an answer that would make sense to respond to one of the questions. Mark that square. Yell out “Yo tengo La Lotería! if you get 5 in a row! Be prepared to say each question that would connect to the sentences you heard.

Criterio C: Communicating in response to spoken, visual, & written text Step 1: Find a partner you’d like to do your speaking evidence with next class. If you need help finding a partner, Sra. M. & Srta. J. will help you. Step 2: Look through the different styles of questions. Decide which level you are both most confident with for next class. Step 3: Practice, practice, practice! Step 4: Decide when/how you will practice before next class’ evidence. A-days…you have more time to ROCK (or forget…)
