7 What is a direct object pronoun?
A direct object pronoun replaces the direct object of the sentence. Think of it as a place holder, a way to make the sentence shorter and more concise Usually used when the direct object has been mentioned earlier in the sentence or in the previous sentence

8 Ejemplo Yo compré la pizza. Yo la compré.
I bought the pizza. I bought it.

I need him!  *these sentences are a little silly/awkward, but I chose them because they allow us to practice our direct object pronouns!!

19 But first…what is an indirect object?
An indirect object indicates to/for whom an action is done or a noun is given Examples: I gave the gift to her. She bought the food for me. They read a book to you. The underlined word is an indirect object. Circle the direct object in the sentences if you can!
