Regular Verbs follow a pattern for conjugation. Stem + Ending

How do you find the stem? Drop the last two letters of the infinitive. The remaining letters are the stem of the verb. Example: hablar Stem

Regular Verb Endings You choose the verb ending based on 2 factors: 1. Is the verb an -AR, -ER, or -IR verb? 2. Which pronoun does the verb need? Who is doing the action? To add the appropriate preterite tense ending.
