Repaso – AHORA An “–ar verb” is a verb that ends in “–ar.” Some examples are: hablar, cantar, bailar. An infinitive is the unchanged, un-conjugated “to” form of the verb in Spanish. Some examples are: hablar (to speak), aceptar (to accept), estudiar (to study).

Repaso: Conjugating regular –AR verbs Step 1: Cut off the –AR ending from the infinitive – Ejemplos: Hablar Cantar Bailar *Habl-, Cant-, and Bail- are the stems of each verb*

Step 2: Add the new ending onto the stem based on the subject (who is doing the action) Yo –oNosotros(as) –amos Tú –asVosotros(as) -áis Él Ella -a Usted Ellos Ellas -an Ustedes
