Oír

Oír- to hear Yo - oigo nosotros - oímos Tú - oyes Él/ella/ud.-oye ellos/uds. - oyen

Oír Notice that all forms are irregular. The spelling changes in tú, él, and ellos- we do this so that there are not three vowels in a row. The nosotros form has an accent! The yo form has a “g.”

Oír-Fun Fact! We can use the term “oye” to get someone’s attention. The English translation of this would be “hey.”

Ejemplos: Nosotros (oír) a la profesora. Yo (oír) a mi madre. Tú (oír) las vacas. (cows) Jorge (oír) la guitarra. Los estudiantes (oír) a la doctora Guz.
