-AR Verbs  As you know, an “INFINITIVE” in English is the not-conjugated verb:  To dance, to swim, to run.  In Spanish, an INFINITIVE ends in -AR, -ER, or –IR.  For now, we will focus on the –AR verbs. The easiest ones!  For now, we will focus on the –AR verbs. The easiest ones!

Yo = I Nosotros = we Tú = you x Él = he Ella = she Usted = you (formal) [you sir, you ma’am] Ellos = they Ellas = they Ustedes = all of you (yaaaaaalllllll)

-AR Verbs  Unlike SER, ESTAR, and TENER, the -AR verbs that you are about to learn all follow the same rules.  Which means your life will be a lot easier.  You only have to learn the endings, and you will be able to conjugate ANY regular –AR verb in the present tense!!!!!

-AR Verbs  To CONJUGATE a regular –AR verb in the present tense, all you have to do is remove the –AR ending and add the appropriate ending.  First, remove the “–ar.” You are left with the ROOT.  Bailar – ar = Bail  Hablar – ar = Habl  Ayudar – ar = Ayud  Estudiar – ar = Estudi
