Los Mandatos NOSOTROS “Let’s…”

¿Cómo se dice “Let’s talk”? Mandatos de nosotros include the speaker in the command. Ar  emos Er/ir  amos ☆ Let ’ s talk = Hablemos ☆ Let ’ s eat = Comamos ☆ Let ’ s write = Escribamos

Stem-changers AR y ER mandatos no llevan un ‘stem change’ en la forma de nosotros ☆ Let ’ s return = volvamos ☆ Let ’ s find = encontremos Pero, los verbos de IR con un ‘ stem change ’ llevan uno en la forma de nosotros. (e-i & o-u) ☆ Let ’ s ask for = pidamos ☆ Let ’ s serve = sirvamos ☆ Let ’ s sleep = durmamos

Práctica… Let’s drink some lemonade.  Bebamos una limonada. Let’s dance.  Bailemos. Let’s return the books.  Devolvamos los libros. Let’s not die.  No muramos.

We still have a whole bunch of irregulars These come from their irregular present tense YO forms + DISHES Caigamos Conozcamos Digamos Demos Hagamos Pongamos Salgamos Seamos Tengamos Escojamos Traigamos Vengamos Veamos Oigamos Sepamos Estemos Construyamos Distribuyamos Traduzcamos Conduzcamos

AND… Car, Gar, Zar Verbs los verbos de car, gar, y zar tienen un cambio ortográfico en la forma de nosotros. -car  quemos(Busquemos) -gar  guemos(Lleguemos) -zar  cemos(Empecemos)

Los Mandatos con los Verbos Reflexivos : Nosotros Levantarse Step 1: Levantemos Step 2: Before you attach the ‘nos’ drop the ‘s’: Levantemo___ Step 3: Levantémonos. (Let’s get up!) **We call these the monkey verbs because MONOS means monkeys. Second to last Syllable!! The accent will always fall on the letter before the ‘M’(or before the monos) Why does the accent fall on the ‘e’?

Los Reflexivos Cepillarse 1.Write the nosotros command  Cepillemos (let’s brush) 3.Drop the ‘s’ from the command  Cepillemo 2.Add the reflexive pronoun ‘nos’ to the end  Cepillemonos 4.Add an accent on the second to last syllable (vowel before the ‘m’) 5.  Cepillémonos *Regla-drop ‘s’ and add ‘monos’—monkeys!

Práctica… Let’s play. (not reflexive)  Juguemos. Let’s go to bed.*  Acostémonos. Let’s get dressed.*  Vistámonos. Let’s shower.*  Duchémonos.

IR & IRSE – Let’s GO! irse (To go- get yourself out of somewhere) –¡Vámonos! Let’s Go! (leave) –No nos vayamos ir (To go) –Vamos –No Vayamos Same difference- usually for let's go, you'll hear Vámonos. It has more urgency.

Pronombres When adding a pronoun to a nosotros command, you simply place it at the end of the command with an accent on the naturally stressed syllable of the verb. (second to last in most cases) ☆ Let ’ s do it! = ¡ Hag á moslo! (el baile) Let ’ s eat it (the apple).  Com á mosla. Let ’ s write a letter to her.  Escrib á mosela. (notice no double “ s ” )
