Nouns All nouns in Spanish are either masculine or feminine Ex: el gato (cat) is masculine la televisión (television) is feminine

Adjectives Adjectives agree in number and gender with the noun they modify. Ex: El gato es negro. Los gatos son negros. La casa es blanca. Las casas son negras.

Verbs There are essentially kinds of verbs. Verbs that end in ar, verbs that end in er and ir. Verbs are conjugated differently for each subject, and each verb type is conjugated slightly differently. To conjugate, drop the ar, er, or ir and add the appropriate ending.
