What are formal commands? Formal commands are used in situations when you want to ask someone to do something but you want to express it in a respectful way or you want to be really polite. –Abuelitos –Los mayores –Gente que no conoces –Etc.

Formation of Ud./Uds. Commands Go to the yo form of the verb in the present tense: –Como –Hablo –Abro –Me cepillo –Me duermo Drop the “o” and “add opuesto”: -ar -e (Ud.) and -en (Uds.) -er/-ir -a (Ud.) and -an (Uds.)

Stem-changing verbs must continue to be so….
