Talking about how you feel... estar and sentir(se) vs. tener Estar (to be) can be used with words from our estar adjectives list: cansado/a aburrido/a nervioso/a triste contento/a enfermo/a enojado/a listo/a bien mal Sentir(se) can be used with most of the same words as estar…instead of “to be ___,” it would be “to feel ___.”
Remember: Tener is used with: frío-to be cold calor-to be hot miedo-to be afraid sueño-to be sleepy (and all of the others from the tener idioms list) For the quiz, memorize that these 4 go with tener, then chances are if it’s not one of the 4, you can either use estar or sentir(se)
