- AR verbs (infinitive)  When an –AR verb ends in –AR (hablar, andar, estudiar), the verb is in its infinitive form.  We use infinitive verbs with GUSTAR and TENER + QUE  Me gusta ANDAR en patineta.  Tengo que ESTUDIAR para el examen.

-AR verbs (infinitive… contd)  When a verb is in its infinitive form, the verb means “to do ___________”  Ex) HABLAR – TO speak  ESTUDIAR – TO study  TRABAJAR – TO work  PRACTICAR – TO practice

-AR verb conjugation  We already know how to say:  I like to listen to music  Me gusta escuchar música  I have to listen to music  Tengo que escuchar música  Now, we want to learn to say:  I LISTEN WE LISTEN  YOU LISTEN  HE / SHE LISTENSTHEY / YOU GUYS LISTEN
