The Speech Detective’s Clue Chronicle December Issue – Parent Edition New Happenings Happy Holidays! We hope this holiday season finds you and your loved ones in good health. Between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day, we lose track of time and try to complete as many tasks as possible. In order to create memorable, fun, and teachable moments for our children during this busy season, we have recommended some activities that target a few speech-language goals. In speech therapy, we will be closing out the year focusing on helping students to keep track of their progress and to expand on their ideas. We wish everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year! See you in 2015! Speech & Language To Go Over the winter break, don’t forget to work with your child on his/her speech and language skills! Visit the local library and pick up some books and ask your child questions. Below are some suggestions with the targets for each book is also listed. During play activities, have your child focus on saying his/her speech sound correctly.
