A direct object pronoun- an object that receives an action It answers “what?” or “whom?” Lupita reads the book. “Book” receives the action of the verb “reads”
As in English, direct objects may be replaced by direct object pronouns. In order to keep it simple, we are only going to refer to things, not people. Direct object pronouns for things are: SINGULAR lo = it la = itPLURAL los = them las = them
