Punctuation Marks 1. “.”- identifies a statement only used at the end of the sentence 2. “¿”- identifies a question followed by a regular “?” at the end 3. “¡”- identifies an exclamation followed by a regular “!” at the end What might be the advantages of having the punctuation also at the beginning of a sentence?

Accent Marks An accent mark is a tilted line ” ` “ placed over a vowel. The accent marks tells us when to stress a particular part of a word. The tilde is the wavy line in the ñ. The tilde ~ tells us to pronounce the n sound followed by a y sound like in canyon.
