Isabel Coixet
She was born in Barcelona on 9th of April, 1962
She studied at Barcelona University and worked as a journalist in the Fotogramas Magazine.
Several years later, she moved to the USA and shot her first film called “Cosas que nunca te dije” in 1996.
She makes advertisements all around the world and wins important awards in this field.
Some of her advertising clients are the following: DANONE, BMW, Ikea, Evax, Renault, Ford, Peugeot, Winston, Pepsi, Kellogg’s among others…
In 2000 she founded the production company “Miss Wasabi Films”. She worked in documentaries and video clips (Alejandro Sanz).

She has won 4 Goya Awards.
She has just finished her last film, which belongs to the erotic genre, with Penélope Cruz.
