To celebrate the day the people cook food representing the Mexican flag using green, red, and white. Majority of people get the day off from work. Parade through the streets with acrobats and performers and a color guard to remember the heroes. Celebration
Porfirio Diáz was a vicious dictator in Mexico Porfirio Diáz was a vicious dictator in Mexico. The unhappiest of all people were the peasants and labor workers. To defend these two groups Ricardo Flores Magón created the Mexican liberal party. Flores Magón was then persecuted by Porfirio's group and later died in a American prison. That was the spark to the revolution.
