Parador The parador of Cuenca use to be a convent, the hotel sits right in front of the “hanging house”, with a steel bridge connecting both beautiful areas. The city of Cuenca is a World Heritage Site

Parador The hotel sits along limestone cliffs which gives it a more special appeal. The hotel features a; Air conditioned room, heating, bar, restaurant, golf course, seasonal pool, gym and spa, and etc. Hotel rates can be between 144 Euros – 346 Euros which in American currency can come to be $189- $450 per night.

What to do… As a tourist you can do many activities in Cuenca, you can walk around the city to look at the beautiful architecture or if you feel a little on the wild side you can visit a museum which shows the art from the area. If theres not enough do do you can walk on the St. Paul Bridge that connects the Parador to the City of Cuenca.

“Hanging Houses” Another popular site to see is the “Hanging Houses” the houses are seated hanging off of the beautiful limestone cliffs. Also known as La Casas Colgadas, the buildings are the only samples of the type of building display that was common in the city.
