When you wish to intensify a quality or exaggerate it, you can do more than simply say, “muy...” Adverbs: ejemplos “Ella está muy enojada” Ella está enojadísima”

How does “-ísimo” work? torpe obstinado obstinadas abierta leal valiente Can you see a pattern with the following adjectives? torpísimo (torpísima) obstinadísimo obstinadísimas abiertísima lealísimo (lealísima) valientísimo (valientísima)

Más ejemplos: Este paisaje es muy bello. Este paisaje es bellísimo. Este paisaje es sumamente bello.

Más ejemplos: Ellos están muy enamorados. Ellos están locamente enamorados. Antonio y su hermano son muy tontos. Antonio y su hermano son tontísimos. Antonio y su hermano son increíblemente tontos.

En resumen: We can use (as alternatives to “muy”): -ísimo / ísimos / ísima / ísimas (notice that there are 4 endings) Adverbs such as: sumamente (highly) locamente (crazy/crazily) increíblemente (incredibly) absolutamente (absolutely) (just to name a few of the more common “intensifiers”)
