Romanos 4:16 16Por eso es por fe, para que esté de acuerdo con la gracia, a fin de que la promesa sea firme para toda la posteridad, no sólo a los que son de la ley, sino también a los que son de la fe de Abraham, el cual es padre de todos nosotros

Romans 4:16 16 For this reason it is by faith, in order that it may be in accordance with grace, so that the promise will be guaranteed to all the descendants, not only to those who are of the Law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all,

Romanos 10:17 17Así que la fe viene del oír, y el oír, por la palabra de Cristo. Romans 10:17 17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

Lucas 7:1-9 1Cuando Jesús terminó todas sus palabras al pueblo que le oía, se fue a Capernaúm. 2Y el siervo de cierto centurión, a quien éste apreciaba mucho, estaba enfermo y a punto de morir.

3Al oír hablar de Jesús, el centurión envió a El unos ancianos de los judíos, pidiéndole que viniera y salvara a su siervo. 4Cuando ellos llegaron a Jesús, le rogaron con insistencia, diciendo: El centurión es digno de que le concedas esto; 5porque él ama a nuestro pueblo y fue él quien nos edificó la sinagoga.

6Jesús iba con ellos, pero cuando ya no estaba lejos de la casa, el centurión envió a unos amigos, diciéndole: Señor, no te molestes más, porque no soy digno de que entres bajo mi techo; 7por eso ni siquiera me consideré digno de ir a ti, tan sólo di la palabra y mi siervo será sanado.

8Pues yo también soy hombre puesto bajo autoridad, y tengo soldados bajo mis órdenes; y digo a éste: "Ve", y va; y a otro: "Ven", y viene; y a mi siervo: "Haz esto", y lo hace. 9Al oír esto, Jesús se maravilló de él, y volviéndose, dijo a la multitud que le seguía: Os digo que ni aun en Israel he hallado una fe tan grande.

Luke 7:1-9 1 When He had completed all His discourse in the hearing of the people, He went to Capernaum. 2 And a centurion’s slave, who was highly regarded by him, was sick and about to die. 3 When he heard about Jesus, he sent some Jewish elders asking Him to come and save the life of his slave.

4 When they came to Jesus, they earnestly implored Him, saying, “He is worthy for You to grant this to him; 5 for he loves our nation and it was he who built us our synagogue.” 6 Now Jesus started on His way with them; and when He was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to Him, “Lord, do not trouble Yourself further, for I am not worthy for You to come under my roof;

7 for this reason I did not even consider myself worthy to come to You, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed. 8 For I also am a man placed under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it.”

9 Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled at him, and turned and said to the crowd that was following Him, “I say to you, not even in Israel have I found such great faith.”
