Me gusta la ensalada. The salad is pleasing to me. The I.O.P agrees with the person who is pleased. Ej. Yo The verb conjugation agrees with what is pleasing according to whether it is singular or plural. Ensalada is singular so “gusta” is used. For plural objects “gustan” is used.
