Taller de Santa Claus Estimadas familias, Nuestra clase va a comenzar el taller de Santa en las próximas semanas. WOW! Esto es muy divertido y el tiempo ocupado! Estamos pidiendo donaciones de artículos de artesanía para ayudar a asegurarse de que tenemos un montón de divertidas manualidades para ofrecer a los estudiantes para las vacaciones! A continuación se presentan los elementos que vamos a utilizar en nuestras embarcaciones si usted desea ayudar con la donación de algunos de estos elementos será muy apreciada! Santa’s Workshop Dear Families, Our class will be beginning Santa’s workshop over the next few weeks. WOW! This is such fun and busy time! We are asking for donations of craft items to help make sure that we have lots of fun crafts to offer students for the holiday season! Below are items that we will be using in our crafts if you would like to help by donating some of these items it will be very much appreciated! Also, we are inviting families to come in December 11 th - 13 th (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) to come play elves with us! You can come any or all days if you wish! Please let us know if you will be attending so we can prepare how much help we will have. We would love the extra help and it should be fun! If possible, have supplies here by Friday, December 7 th. Thank you so much for all your help and your dedication to your child’s success! We are so proud of them! Happy Holidays! We will be reading literature from all over the world about different kinds of celebrations that take place in other countries! We are beginning to write persuasive writings this month! We will also be completing lots of great holiday writings- lots of fun! In writing and grammar we have been learning about proper and plural nouns- see if your child can tell you about these! We all want to continue to work on adding details to our writing. We also want to always remember to use capital letters at the beginning of sentences and for proper nouns. We want our students making their great stories even better- remember to never begin a sentence with “but” or “and” Welcome to December! Can you believe it is almost Christmas time? We are so proud to see how students are working so hard and impressing us with how much they have learned everyday! Persuasive writing Friendly letters Biographies and reports Beginning next week we will be starting a new unit in Social Studies on Economics and Financial Literacy. This year we have decided to incorporate a fun and engaging way to learn the new Common Core Standards by having students participate in a Santa’s Workshop! Each class will make different Christmas craft. For every craft that the students produce they will earn money to buy goodies from other rooms! We are so excited and just know the students will get so much from this experience! We welcome volunteers to come out to help make this extra special! Welcome to December!
