F.A.Q  What do I as supervisor if a student is not up to date?  Can/should a student fail the Personal Project?

F.A.Q  Inform parents& copy MYP coordinator if a student is not up to date with tasks, process journal reflections( goal, global context, inquiry questions, action plan, research, development of product/outcome criteria)/Informar a padres &c.c coordinador MYP si no está al día.  According to the PEI, it is a requirement for students to pass on to 11th grade. Sts will have to work over the holidays on their projects if not up to standard. / Según el PEI es requisito para pasar a grado 11º. Los estudiantes deben trabajar en las vacaciones para ponerse al día.

Due dates Personal Project April /Fechas de entrega PP  April 18th: hand in process journal, product/outcome, report to supervisor / Entregar diario de trabajo, producto/resultado, reporte al supervisor.  Thursday 23rd & Friday 24th & Monday 27th April : Set up stands Personal Project, 2 hours daily from 8-10 a.m and normal classes. / Organizar exhibición  Tuesday 28th April: Presentations to the community, pre-primary, primary and Bach All day / Presentaciones a la comunidad  Wednesday 29th: Showcase evening for parents / Noche Presentación a padres Normal classes and evening Showcase

Let’s celebrate our growth in the PP/Celebremos nuestro crecimiento en el PP As supervisors lets be ready for 2016, all personal projects will be sent to the IB from next year. Please check: Report & 10 extracts Process journal, Product-outcome / Process journal.  Clear goal and connection/justification to global context  Thorough research (wide selection of sources) RESEARCH SKILLS  Action plan INQUIRY (What? When? How? Will the students achieve the goal?)  Grading our students according to the PP assessment criteria - check the objectives - criteria  Ensuring thorough skill development & APPLICATION OF A WIDE VARIETY OF ATL SKILLS (Thinking, Research, Communication, Self-management, Social) during the process (process journal) and the report.  High quality product/outcome - clear and thorough design of criteria and rubric & Student evaluation of PRODUCT/OUTCOME using criteria and rubric  High quality reflections in the process journal and report. Students cannot pass to DP with the bare minimum requirements in the PP, they need to work in their holidays to make up for it!

Por favor revisen: Reporte & 10 extractos diario de trabajo, Producto-resultado / Diario de trabajo.  Meta clara y conexión/justificación con el contexto global.  Investigación detallada (selección amplia y variada de recursos) HABILIDADES DE INDAGACIÓN  PLAN DE ACCIÓN INDAGACIÓN (QUÉ? CUANDO? COMO lograrán los estudiantes la meta?)  Calificando a nuestros estudiantes de acuerdo a los criterios de evaluación del PP - revisar objetivos-criterios  Asegurando la reflexión de la aplicación de una variedad amplia de los enfoques de aprendizaje (habilidades de pensamiento, investigación, comunicació, auto-gestión, sociales) en el diario de proceso y en el reporte  Producto-resultado de alta calidad - diseño de criterios claros y detallados y diseño de rúbrica- Evaluación del estudiante del PRODUCTO/RESULTADO utilizando sus criterios y su rúbrica.  Reflexiones de alta calidad en el diario de trabajo y en el reporte. Los estudiantes no pueden pasar a DP con los requerimientos minimos en el PP, deben trabajar en las vacaciones para ponerse al dia!
