Homework – Homework is assigned each day and will be written daily in the planner provided by Norcross Elementary. Please sign planner nightly. Reading is a nightly homework assignment. You are encouraged to read with your child or allow him/her to read to you. Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS): The AKS booklet, green booklet, you received contains all of the skills your child will be taught and are expected to master by the end of the school year. It also contains tips in the back of the booklet that you may use to help your child be successful. Friday Folder - On Friday, blue folders will be sent home and must be returned on the first day of school the following week. The blue folder will have a weekly report to keep you informed on your child’s behavior, work habits, and any additional information you may need for future reference. It will also contain work your child has completed during the week. Your Child’s Daily Schedule Tardy time is any time after 8:50 All breakfast should be eaten by 8:50, unless there is a bus delay. It’s very important that children are on time! It is also very important that your child eats breakfast either at home or at school.
