Did you notice the difference?  In one we used Indirect Object Pronouns  In another we did not…Can you tell which one we used the IDOPs?

Indirect Objects:  Indirect objects are the things that are indirectly affected by the verb in the sentence…okay Señor G. what does that mean?

Indirect Objects She gave the ball to me. She gave me the ball. They told the secret to us.They told us the secret. We brought the gift to you. We brought you the gift. You gave the pencil to her. You gave her the pencil.
