INDIRECT OBJECT: The person who receives the action of the verb. Answers the questions: To whom? or For whom? Ex: Paco gives money to Marta. To whom does Paco give the money? To Marta. Marta = Indirect Object

Indirect Object Pronoun: Stands for an indirect object noun. me= me nos = us te = you os = you le = you, him, herles = you, them **Placed either BEFORE the conjugated verb or ATTACHED to end of an infinitive when there are two verbs.

In Spanish … Unlike in English, the Indirect Object Pronoun is ALWAYS necessary in Spanish. The Indirect Object PRONOUN can: Take the place of the indirect object noun OR be used together with it Ex: Un banquero le presta dinero a Juan. = A banker lends money to Juan. Un banquero le presta dinero. = A banker lends him money.
