Comparisons Using, or =

To say something is “more than”  Use más + adj. + que  La bufanda es más cara que los zapatos.  Los aretes son más baratos que el collar.  El sombrero es más rojo que el suéter.

To say something is “less than” something else  Use menos + adj. + que  La chaqueta es menos cara que el abrigo.  La clase de arte es menos dificil que la clase de español.

To say something is “as/as or equal” to something else.  Use tan + adj. + como  La clase de biología es tan aburrida como la clase de salud.  El burrito es tan delicioso como el taco.  Los zapatos de cuero son tan baratos como estos pantalones de cuero.
