SIDA (AIDS )

WHAT IS AIDS?  AIDS is a disease caused by a virus called HIV that causes destruction of the immune system of the person who has it.

HOW FORMED / PRODUCED?  Infection occurs when a sufficient amount of virus found in blood, semen, vaginal secretions and breast milk of people affected, enters the bloodstream through wounds, punctures, skin lesions in the vaginal mucosa, anal mucosa or oral mucosa.

PREVENTIONS  you are going to use an exclusive sexual partner  you are going to use a condom correctly  your going to have sexual Abstinence  you are going to practice safe sex

CAUSES if you do not take care you let this happen: you will die you will alter the immune system so that a simple illness can cost you life. TOO will give diarrhea will give Skin Cancer

PATHWAYS  Sexual contact: 75%  parental Inoculation: users of intravenous drugs and recipients of blood and blood products.  Transmission of the virus from infected mothers to children through the placenta or through breastfeeding.

TREATMENT  No known cure: prevention  Abstinence, Be faithful and use condoms
