Notice that… Because every form of the verb looks and sounds different, the subject pronoun is not always used. –Yo soy inteligente. –Somos alumnos buenos. The subject pronoun agrees in gender with the person spoken about, but the verb does not…. –Él esElla es –Nosotros somos Nosotras somos
Notice that… To make a statement negative, place the word no before the verb…. –Tú no eres tonto. –No son mis amigos. To ask a question, invert the subject pronoun and the verb… –¿Eres tú amiga de Luisa? –¿Somos buenos alumnos?
