Review Verb Infinitive Conjugate Subject Conjugations Subject pronouns a part of speech indicating action a non-conjugated verb. In English it usually includes the word “to” – to be, to swim, to eat, to live, etc. In Spanish all infinitives end in either -ar, -er, or -ir. to change the verb from the infinitive to a form that matches the subject the person or thing that does the action the forms of the verb after you conjugate it a word that replaces nouns that are serving as subjects

Subject pronouns Singular Plural We (m) = Nosotros We (f) = Nosotras I = yo You (inf) = tú x He = él She = ella You (formal) = usted They (m) = ellos They (f) = ellas You all = ustedes

Conjugating Verbs To conjugate a verb in Spanish you take off the ending, -ar, -er, -ir you are left with the stem of the verb comer [minus] er = com- (the stem) add on the appropriate ending to match the subject.
