The verb doler The verb doler is like the verb gustar. It is a verb that works ‘back to front’ when compared with its English equivalent. Me duele la garganta.

II. Usos Singular: When it is only one thing, person, or activity (verb) that is liked. A) Me gusta el pollo. B) A ellos les gusta correr.
