In preparation for the Gallery Walk Judging... You have completed the pattern the fashion designer requested and you are ready for the competition. You have learned Michael Kors and other famous designers will be judging today and you make sure you provide the best description possible. Write two to three sentences in Spanish describing your design. For example, what garment it is, the colors you chose, and the styles you used. Gallery Walk Judges Take your journal with you as you walk around the classroom. Select the best three designs. Answer the questions from the warm-up and write a one-sentence description for each design telling how much you like it and telling its color, form, etc.
6-Week Assessment Take a computer, log in, and open a Google Doc. Add all your pictures to the Doc. If you selected a celebrity, make sure the images and any words/phrases are school appropriate. Describe each picture in Spanish by saying what is being worn, who is wearing it, what weather it is, etc. Use short phrases and simple sentences.
You must use words and short phrases to write a brief caption for each photo. Use the vocabulary you learned in this unit in addition to units 1 and 2 to describe and provide your preference and/or opinion about fashion or technology, and the weather. Write about who is in the picture, what s/he looks like, what s/he is wearing, what weather/season it is, etc. Write one to two sentences per photo.
