Queremos darles las gracias por asegurase de que su hijo(a) venga preparado(a) al cuarto grado con sus útiles y con una nueva mentalidad hacia este grado. Sabemos claramente que cada grado que cursa su hijo(a) es un cambio drástico en sus rutinas familiares. Es muy importante que su hijo(a) se adapte a este nuevo año escolar y comprenda sus nuevas responsabilidades. 1. La puntualidad en la escuela es primordial, ya que todos los días su hijo(a) aprenderá nuevas habilidades que le ayudara a preparase para la prueba del estado (STAAR). Asegúrese de que su hijo(a) venga TODOS LOS DIAS a clase. Encaso de enfermedad o emergencia asegúrese de mandar una nota para que usted y su hijo(a) no se vean afectados. 2. TODAS LAS TAREAS Y PROYECTOS SON MANDATORIOS. A su hijo(a) se le proveerá una agenda para anotar sus tareas en los días apropiados. Ud.(s). Será(n) responsables de revisar y firmar todos los días la agenda para asegurar de que su hijo(a) cumpla con sus tareas. Las tareas son un repaso de la lección y una guía para el maestro(a), para saber si su hijo(a) entendió la lección o necesita ayuda adicional. Si su hijo(a) pierde un día, nos haremos cargo de que su hijo(a) la reciba y si no es posible, proveeremos tiempo adicional para que la termine. Es muy importante que su hijo(a) cumpla con las tareas, ya que el incumplimiento le causara detención después de escuela y Ud.(s). será(n) responsables(s) de la transportación si el estudiante toma el autobús después de escuela. Es muy comprensible que su hijo(a) le tome tiempo el adaptarse a la nueva rutina; por lo tanto la detención después de escuela no será efectiva asta septiembre 10, del Después de la fecha indicada, no excusa será permitida. En caso de que usted(es) y su hijo(a) tengan problemas con la tarea, favor de hacerlo saber en la agenda del niño(a) y hacer la tarea lo mejor posible. Yo estamos disponibles de 7:00am – 7:45am o de 2:40pm – 3:30pm para repasar o explicar individualmente la lección. La disciplina es la parte mas importante para tener un ambiente educativo positivo. Si su hijo(a) no sigue la disciplina requerida es muy posible de que obtenga detención después de escuela. En caso de detención extracurricular Ud.(s). Será(n) responsable(s) de la transportación si el estudiante toma el autobús. Le agradeceríamos cualquier comentario. Cualquier problema que se presente con su hijo(a) que afecte su aprovechamiento educativo favor de hacerlo saber INMEDIATAMENTE para tomar cartas en el asunto. Welcome To School Year August 26, 2013 Dear parent(s) or tutor(s), It is our pleasure to work with you in your sons (daughters) education this new school year. We want to thank you for assuring that your son (daughter) has come prepared and equipped with his/her school supplies for the fourth grade and with a new mentality towards this grade. It is clear that each year your child is in, causes drastic changes in your familys routines. It is important that your kid adapts him/herself to the new school year and new responsibilities. 1. Punctuality is essential due to the fact that every day your kid will learn abilities that will prepare him/her for the state testing (STAAR). Make sure your kid comes to school EVERY DAY. Please send a note in case of sickness or emergency to protect your kid and yourself. 2. ALL PROJECTS AND HOMEWORK ARE MANDATORY. Your kid will receive an agenda to write down the homework in the proper date. You will be responsible to sign the agenda every day to make sure your kid is doing his/her work. The homework is a review and a guide for us to confirm your kid understood the lesson or needs additional help. If your kid misses a day, we will make sure he/she receives the homework, or provide additional time to finish it. It is very important that your kid does the homework. Noncompliance will cause afterschool detention and you will be responsible for transportation after school if your kid rides the bus. It is comprehensible your kid will need time to adjust to the new routine. Therefore, afterschool detention will not be effective until September 10, After the specified date, no excuse will be accepted. If your kid and you have problems understanding the homework, please write down the problem in the agenda and do the homework as best as possible. We will be available from 7:00am-7:45am or from 2:45pm-3:45pm to review or explain the lesson individually. 3. Discipline is the most important part to have a positive educational environment. If your kid does not follow the required discipline, it is very possible that he/she will have after school detention. In case of extracurricular detention, you will be responsible for transportation if the student takes the bus. We appreciate any comments. Any problem that could affect your kid's education, please let us know immediately to take care of it. Any questions regarding this information or your childs education please call at after school to schedule a parent-conference. Remember, it is your right to be informed about your childs education.
