COSAS PARA RECORDAR The verb “escuchar” takes a direct object Lo escuché (“I listened to him”) Generally, the indirect object is clarified in the sentence. Le doy el regalo a mi madre. Le hablé a ella. Indirect Objects are often used when the direct object is a part of the body or a personal possession. El dentista le sacó la muela. (The dentist pulled his/her/your tooth.) El botones nos trae el equipaje. (The bellboy is carrying our luggage.)

The neuter direct object pronoun “lo” often replaces a phrase or sentence (rather than a single noun) ¿Dónde está la profesora? No lo sé.

Posición The pronouns usually come before the verb The pronouns are attached to commands (most often stress is on the third vowel from end) When an infinitive or the present progressive is used the pronoun can come before the verb OR attached to the verb
