Conexiones y negaciones Es muy importante usar palabras de connection y negation en español. Keep these notes handy for the rest of the year- they’ll be really useful! English example: Yesterday I went to the store with my sister. During the trip, we did not see anyone we knew. Then, we went to the movies. We didn’t eat any popcorn. Later, we went home. Before going to sleep, we watched TV and brushed our teeth.

Negación No in Spanish literally means no, but it can also be used to NEGATE sentences → didn’t, doesn’t, don’t, etc. Nosotros fuimos a México // Nosotros no fuimos a México Me gusta la escuela // No me gusta la escuela Ella comió anoche // Ella no comió anoche
