Tarea de ayer (yesterday’s homework) Most of you did quite well on this! A couple comments: All adjectives must match the word they describe and often words have more than one adjective describing them. Make sure ALL the adjectives match the word they describe. Not bothering to look up a word you aren’t sure on or to check your spelling if you aren’t sure is pure laziness. If you can’t bother doing your homework properly it doesn’t do you any good. Putting check marks by all your answers does not magically make them correct. If you aren’t sure what you are supposed to be doing or you don’t know how to fix the problems, ask for help! Writing the gender/# above the adjective does no good unless you are doing so to compare it to the noun. We are matching adjectives to the noun, not the other way around.

Después de la Prueba Get a Tener/Venir notes sheet Get half sheet paragraph briefly describing Sra. Crossett’s family. Using this sheet, fill in the irregular conjugations of Tener in your notes sheet. Then go through and try to understand the information given in the paragraph. You may need to look at your vocab sheet at the “expresiones con tener” section (back side) to help you with some of these!

Tener Yo TENGO Tú TIENES Usted TIENE Él/Ella TIENE Nosotros/as TENEMOS Vosotros/as TENÉIS Ustedes TIENEN Ellos/as TIENEN

Venir – VERY similar Yo VENGO Tú VIENES Usted VIENE Él/Ella VIENE Nosotros/as VENIMOS Vosotros/as VENÍS Ustedes VIENEN Ellos/as VIENEN
